Public Facing Student Work
In Spring 2025, students in HIST 426: Gender and Sexuality in Africa chose to collaborate as a class to produce a publication designed for a public audience. All students read some theoretical work on the colonial/ modern gender sex system by Lugones and Sylvia Tamale. They then each selected a topic to research and then apply these theoretical insights to this research.
